Today is the big day of readings and workshops around the city. At the Downtown Library, workshops on poetry, prose and theatre will begin at 10 a.m. Plus, there will be featured readings by Ed Madden and Dan Vera, Kate Bornstein's workshop and open mic at 3:30 p.m. At Outwrite, Greg Herren, Cleo Creech, Yolo and Jeffery Beam will read at 2 p.m. and Collin Kelley, Jim Elledge and Christopher Davis at 8 p.m. Over at Charis, catch Susan Holbrook, Daphne Gottlieb and Megan Volpert, also at 8 p.m.
