AQLF Eddie's Attic Benefit Artist Spotlight: Andy Ditzler

This last week leading up to our big benefit at Eddie's Attic we'll be spotlighting different artists that will be performing at the event. Today we'd like to showcase the exciting work of Andy Ditzler.

Many of you may already know Andy from his work with Frequent Small Meals and their mounting of house concerts, salons and other arts events around town.

You may also know Andy through his love of film and particularly the rare avant garde works whose screenings are made possible through Film Love. Andy is one of the leading experts in Atlanta on avant garde film and has been interviewd on the topic by Atlanta Magazine, Arts Papers, AJC, and WABE. Creative Loafing called him "An Atlanta film culture treasure."

For the AQLF Benefit you'll be enjoying  what cdbaby refers to as "...an intricate musical mosaic: 21st-century pop songs with an overlay of jazz, samba, rock, and electronica. Holding it all together at the core are Ditzler’s piano, voice, melodies and lyrics". You can sample some of Andy's music at cdbaby here.

Here's a sample of Andy's talent and creativity. The video for his work Solstice:
