The winner of the 2011 AQLF Broadside Contest chosen by poet Mark Doty is Brent Calderwood. His limited edition, signed broadside will be for sale during the festival. We are excited that Calderwood will be joining us in Atlanta to read his winning poem during the Keynote Addresses on Friday, June 24, 7:30 p.m. at the Decatur Library. Calderwood is a San Francisco-based writer and editor. He is an Associate Editor at LambdaLiterary.org, Book Review Editor for A&U Magazine, and Bay Area Editor for the journal Locuspoint. He has received awards and fellowships from the Lambda Literary Foundation, the San Francisco Public Library, the Horizon Foundation, the Napa Valley Writers Conference, and the Squaw Valley Community of Writers. His poems have appeared in The Gay & Lesbian Review Worldwide, American Poetry Journal, Gertrude, The Innisfree Poetry Journal, and in the books Poets 11, Solace in So Many Words, and the forthcoming Divining Divas.
