The 2008 AQLF Schedule!

Here is the tentative schedule for the Atlanta Queer Literary Festival. Please not that all speakers, times and events are subject to change. If you are a featured reader and have a conflict with this schedule, please notify us immediately at atlqueerlitfest@gmail.com.

Tuesday, October 14

Pre-festival Open Mic at the Ponce de Leon Library, 980 Ponce de Leon Ave., hosted by Karen G., 7 p.m.

Wednesday, October 15

Opening Night Event
featuring keynote speakers Mark Doty, Kate Evans and Blair. Hosted by Collin Kelley. Atlanta-Fulton County Library Downtown, One Margaret Mitchell Square, 7:30 p.m. AQLF media sponsor Southern Voice will host a reception at the library prior to the reading starting at 6:30 p.m.

Performance of Larry Corse Playwriting-award winner Skin Deep at First Existentialist Church, 470 Candler Park Dr., with special pre-show poetry reading by Jessica Hand & Sincere, 7 p.m.

Thursday, October 16

Mark Doty: The Challenges of Writing Your Own History at Emory University, 201 Dowman Dr. (Dobbs University Center, Room 251), noon.

Readings by Alex Sanchez, Paul Lisicky, Dan Vera and Sister So Am I at Outwrite Books, 991 Piedmont Ave., 7:30 p.m.
