AQLF Updates

Since we published the schedule earlier this month, we've had a few changes. Unfortunately, the fabulous poet Amy King will not be able to join us this year. You will also notice changes in readings and workshops. The schedule is subject to change right up until festival-time, so please check back.

You can now read more about our participating authors at this bio page link. The link will be permanently located on the sidebar. This bio page is being updated regularly, so check back to find out about all our wonderful authors, poets and playwrights. Descriptions of the planned Saturday workshops by our authors will be posted very soon.

The planned Queer Poetry Slam at eyedrum has been put on hold until 2009. Instead, we will have an evening of Queer Music featuring a number of Atlanta's most talented out artists. Performers will be announced announced soon.

You can also now buy advanced tickets for the award-winning play Skin Deep, which will be running every evening of the festival at the First Existentialist Congregation. This is the only event at AQLF that requires an admission charge and it is definitely worth your cash! Tickets can be purchased through the link in the sidebar or by clicking here.
