Tonight is the official kick-off of AQLF with keynote addresses by bestselling poet and memoirist Mark Doty, novelist Kate Evans and spoken word artist Blair at 7:30 p.m. Poet Collin Kelley will emcee. Arrive early to enjoy a reception by our media sponsor Southern Voice at 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public and will be he held in the auditorium of the Downtown branch of the Atlanta-Fulton County Library, 1 Margaret Mitchell Square. Outwrite Books will be the retailer for this event and authors will be signing books after the event. Free parking is extremely limited in the vicinity of the library (there are lots and decks several blocks away that charge from $10 to $20), so we are encouraging visitors to take MARTA to the Peachtree Center station, just across the street from the library's main entrance.
